"Casa de Fortuna" (House of Good Fortune) is a luxury two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa in Faro Park, Playa Blanca in the south-west tip of Lanzarote. It was completed in the Spring of 2004 and is situated in a quiet residential area and very close to the coast. To the side of the property there is a private parking area. The villa is ideal for families who are looking for a really relaxing holiday and offers the tranquillity that is not readily found in the built-up established tourist resorts such as Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Teguise.
The villa has been fitted with charming shutters with integral mosquito nets to ensure a cool and "peaceful" night's sleep!. Fully furnished and equipped to a very high standard, the interior of the villa offers classic Spanish architecture with its combination of granite and marble tiling throughout, providing stunning results and a cool airy feeling. Teak patio doors lead onto the large terracotta sun terrace and shaded dining area with large teak dining table and comfortable padded seats overlooking the garden. The villa has ample exterior lighting and this is an an ideal area for an evening meal and a large glass of wine! There is also a circular teak table and four chairs overlooking the swimming pool - great for having lunch at, whilst keeping a careful eye on the children in the pool. A Canarian cream coloured wall around the perimeter of the property provides privacy as well as giving all guests the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful garden which has been very well-stocked with mature local trees, shrubs and plants such as palms, cacti, yuccas, bird of paradise, hibiscus, adelphus, bougainvillea, aloe vera and pampas grasses, etc.
